Chatter on TV

On April 4th, Barb and I visited the studios of Haverhill Community Television. Barb watched from the control room as I taped a 30-minute episode of WriteNow hosted by Gayle Heney. Gayle interviewed me about my book, Chatter in the Canopy, about the illustrations, and about poetry in general. I read 5 or 6 pieces from the book, including the always fun and challenging Sadly, Our Geniuses Linger.

Gayle is the current (and two-term) Poet Laureate of North Andover, MA. http://www.wickedlocal.com/northandover/fun/entertainment/arts/x1522836382/Gayle-Heney-selected-as-Poet-Laureate-for-another-two-years

The spot will air on Haverhill Community TV for the month of May on Comcast channel 22 on Tuesdays @ 7:30 pm and 11:30 pm and Wednesdays @ 6:30 am, 10:30 am and 3:30 pm. Following the May airdates in Haverhill, the show will also be broadcast on the local Andover, Methuen and N. Andover cable channels in June and July.

The show will be also available online at haverhillcommunitytv.org for the month of May starting around May 10th.
